No. Nurses Lounge is not a staffing agency and does not charge hourly mark-up fees. Nurse FLEX Pool is subscription-based staffing access. Your team controls what gets posted and which nurses are approved.
What does the subscription include?
It buys access, not a per-shift premium. Your subscription includes the Nurse FLEX Pool platform to post and fill unlimited PRN and per diem shifts with trusted nurses, a Marketplace facility presence where your permanent jobs are imported to the job map, plus the ability to post new grad nurse residencies in our Residency Programs directory.
How do we screen nurses before approving shifts?
Yes. Nurses download the Nurse FLEX Pool app, complete verification and authentication, then apply to your shifts. Your team can review credentials and resumes, chat with applicants, and schedule onboarding as needed before approval.
How much control do we keep over staffing?
You keep full control. Your team reviews credentials and resumes, and decides who works each shift. Over time, you build a trusted Pool of nurses you want to bring back, so coverage becomes more repeatable and aligned with your facility.
How do nurses get paid?
Nurses Lounge is not a staffing agency and does not hire or pay nurses. We provide on-demand mobile staffing technology as well as a curated pool of local nurses for a fixed monthly fee. Facilities are free to determine how best to pay the nurses that are filling shifts. The Nurse FLEX Pool logs the hours worked and provides digital time sheets.
