A nurse will precept my care of patients and lead me through 135 hours of clinical care experience.

Performed health assessments on patients and used critical thinking to decide if the patient needed further attention by a doctor or a reference to health care in their neighborhood.

After taking an Physiology course at SBCC, my professor chose about five students that stood out to him to take a part in the Dissection Team. After thorough research, we prepared to dissect part of a cadaver by putting together an informational binder on that body part. We then proceeded to dissect that part of the body in order to prepare the cadaver for future Anatomy classes to learn from.

Assisted with a tattoo removal clinic at Highland Hospital. As a nursing student I helped place numbing cream on the patients prior to tattoo removal, and placed ice on affected areas post-treatment.
