-Responsible for aligning HR strategy with business objectives of the organization, consulting management on Human Resources issues, acting as employee champion and change agent, assessing and anticipating HR-related needs of business solutions, and partnering across HR functions to deliver value added service to management and employees. -Provides performance opportunity guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) as needed. Advises management as first point of contact in all cases of employment termination, disciplinary action, performance improvement activities, and workforce reductions - Manages proactive recruitment startegy in partnership with management this includes but is not limited to: placing applicants to fill open positions, this includes screening applications, interviewing, checking references, and determining a salary in compliance with the compensation policy.
