    Good Afternoon NSANYS,

I wanted to reach out and see if I could schedule a few minutes to chat with the student nurses association of NY and find out how I can support the different initiatives in the regional locations. I would love to sponsor events where I could speak with leaders, educators and students, as well as participate in any opportunities you have where I could learn more about New York’s student nursing initiatives. I have sponsored many different events, education, advocacy, NCLEX reviews, luncheons, hospital rounding, continuing education, networking, etc. Mostly I’m looking to get a better understanding of the specific NY initiatives, the different student chapters, and find out how I can add value to NY nursing students.

I also sit on the executive board for a not for profit organization – Show Me Your Stethoscope – which has over 750,000 nurse members, including students, educators, advocates, and industry professionals. The two organizations I represent are partnered together, so I have the ability to discuss one or both depending on the event.

Please let me know if there are individual chapter presidents I can reach out to or how to go about learning more and getting involved!

    Thank you for your time,
    Alley
