  • 2016 Creative Teaching Award

    Congratulations to Drs. Alison Colbert and Melanie Turk, winners of the 2016 Creative Teaching Award!
    Their project was titled "Building Empathy: Using Simulation to Help Nursing Students Understand the Experience of Poverty."
    This is the fourth consecutive year that faculty from the School of Nursing have won this university award.

    Congratulations to junior nursing student Heather Konstanzer who received the School of Nursing Undergraduate Research Award for her poster, "Is Universal Healthcare Universally Better?" (Advisor Cherith Simmer). She made good use of existing data, applied research principles, and effectively communicated her findings.
