    I'm about to apply to nursing school at Texas State. My background with college and school is that I have an AS in Studio Art. I have absolutely no health training at all. I've been working as an esthetician. I'm scared to death of how hard it will be to learn everything just to get in. Not to mention that I'm a little older at 46 and my memory isn't what it used to be. Do...

    I'm about to apply to nursing school at Texas State. My background with college and school is that I have an AS in Studio Art. I have absolutely no health training at all. Not to mention that I'm a little older at 46 and my memory isn't what it used to be. Do you think I'm biting off more than I can chew? I'm doing some practice quizzes and it's taking a long time to memorize the information. What do you guys think? Is this doable for someone in my situation?
