MedCAREERS Group, Inc (“MCGI”) (OTC Pink:MCGI) is dedicated to building it’s wholly-owned subsidiary Nurses Lounge, Inc. into the premiere online professional network for the nursing community.

Nurses Lounge is what management believes to be the first and only professional network built from the ground up exclusively for Nurses. Nurses Lounge Professional Network was launched in mid-2009 and has successfully completed its proof of concept and is now successfully executing it’s business plan. MCGI, through Nurses Lounge, Inc., offers an opportunity to be part of the fast growing professional/social networking space, focused on the healthcare industry’s largest and most in demand professionals: Registered Nurses.

Timothy Armes, CEO of MCGI and Nurses Lounge, is an Internet job board pioneer and founder of jobs.com, which he built into one of the top 5 online job boards by 1999. Mr. Armes acquired Nurseslounge.com in 2002 and re-launched it along with a companion monthly magazine that was direct mailed to Dallas-Fort Worth (“DFW”) nursing professionals. Mr. Armes re-launched the Nurses Lounge website in mid-2009 which was the culmination of a successful combination of his knowledge of job boards and the nursing industry, plus attributes of social networking that benefit online recruiting. The result is what can be described as a “Linkedin” for nurses.

In November of 2010, Nurses Lounge, Inc was acquired by MCGI and as a result Mr. Armes became it’s largest shareholder.
